6 Common Cancer

Cancer is defined as the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells malignant.

Cancer occurs in many different forms. Each form has different symptoms and treatments. Here are some important types of cancer.

Breast cancer: Breast cancer is a disease in which cancer cells are found in breast tissue. There cancers non-melanoma skin cancer is breast cancer more common among American women and the sixth leading cause of mortality in this class.
Today, because of advances in research on breast cancer and medical diagnostics and detection practices, rates of death from breast cancer have been declining since 1990. According to the American Cancer Society, there are 2.5 million cancer survivors in the United States

Lung cancer: the most common cancer in men and women, lung cancer affects approximately 219,000 new cases annually in this country. This deadly disease of cancer is the highest cancer mortality rate. The most important risk factor for lung cancer is smoking, but other factors such as exposure to environmental toxins and genetics play a role in the development of this disease.

Prostate cancer: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men, excluding skin cancer and is the second leading cause of cancer deaths. This walnut-sized male reproductive gland under the bladder is responsible for the construction and production of sperm. Cancer occurs when cells of the prostate gland cells turn into cancer. The severity of the cancer moved from one stage of development, to determine whether spread of cancer cells. Age, genetics, nutrition, drugs and pollution are the most common risk factors.

Ovary: one of the most lethal of all cancers of ovarian cancer as a silent killer because usually when the cancer is detected known, has spread to other parts of the body. Cancers of the skin caused by direct exposure to ultraviolet rays under the sun or tanning beds. If caught early, most cancers non-melanoma skin can be treated.
