Some medications (especially sulfur) drugs can cause hair loss. This type of hair loss problem improves when you stop taking the drug. The drugs can cause hair loss include anticoagulants (also known as anticoagulants), medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, medicines for gout, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants.

If you have undergone major surgery suffered from a disease or prolong the problem of hair loss may face. This, however, hair loss, related to the burden of illness and is temporary.

Some fungal infections can cause hair loss. In general, children have problems with hair loss caused by a fungal infection of the scalp.
